After 4 months of attempting to breastfeed without luck, I became an exclusive pumping mom and “just-enougher”.

Wearables barely produced anything for me and left me with painful blisters, so my beloved Spectra was really my only option when I started traveling again.

Every time the dreaded moment came to pump, there I was, fumbling around under my nursing cover with tubing, flanges and bottles. I had my fair share of spills, too. All right next to strangers and in my most vulnerable time.

I felt embarrassed and exposed.
